Young Talent Award
A young talent award worth EUR 1,000 is available for medical professionals in further training or students.
Applications for this award are made when submitting abstracts.
Promoting young talent at the DWG
Students (not employed) receive free admission to the congress. Students who have presented an accepted abstract will receive financial support of EUR 400 after the congress (student ID must be presented).
Georg-Schmorl-Award
The research prize is endowed with EUR 5,000. To apply, the complete scientific paper must be sent in English by email or post to the chair of the Scientific Committee (Prof. Matthias Pumberger) by 31 August 2025.
Lecture & Poster Awards
Three lecture prizes and three poster prizes will be awarded during the German Spine Congress.
The lecture prizes are endowed with EUR 500, EUR 1,000 and EUR 1,500. The poster prizes are endowed with EUR 500, EUR 750 and EUR 1,000.
