This workshop teaches how functional disorders of the spine can occur and how they can be classified, even if structural pathologies exist at the same time.
The basic neurophysiological correlations are worked out and orienting examination methods as well as initial therapy approaches are taught in practice.
The aim is to give participants a first impression of the potential and limitations of manual medicine. Functional disorders can, for example, also represent a relevant differential diagnosis when determining the indication for surgery, which is why it is important to know about them.
